AMS Neolife Super-Speciality Clinic was founded by Dr. Altamash Shaikh and Dr. Manzer Altamash Shaikh, a husband-and-wife consultant team, to close a gap they had each seen for years from opposite sides of the same problem.
Dr. Altamash Shaikh is a Consultant Endocrinologist, Diabetologist and Metabolic Physician who has spent over two decades treating diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity and hormonal conditions across some of Mumbai's leading hospitals - Saifee Hospital, HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Prince Aly Khan Hospital, Masina Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital and S.L. Raheja Hospital (Fortis) among them. Dr. Manzer Altamash Shaikh is a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, Preventive Oncologist and Fertility Specialist, trained across respected Mumbai maternity and gynaecology units before building her own practice.
Over the years, their clinical paths kept crossing at the same set of conditions: thyroid disorders complicating pregnancy, PCOS and insulin resistance affecting fertility, gestational diabetes, and the hormonal shifts of menopause. Both have lectured on this overlap for years - Dr. Altamash Shaikh as faculty at FOGSI-collaborated Gynaec-Endocrine summits, MOGS panels on thyroid and vitamin D in women, and PCOS Society conferences; Dr. Manzer Altamash Shaikh from the obstetric and gynaecological side of the same cases.
