About Dr. Manzer Altamash Shaikh
Dr. Manzer Altamash Shaikh is a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, Preventive Oncologist and Fertility Specialist. She trained across some of Mumbai’s respected maternity and gynaecology units, including Sir H.N. Hospital and Research Centre, Kohinoor Hospital, Nair Hospital, and an assisted reproduction fellowship under Dr. Duru Shah, before founding her own practice.
Her clinical work spans routine and high-risk pregnancy care, infertility evaluation and treatment, and preventive gynaecological oncology, including cervical cancer screening through colposcopy. She has published on topics ranging from renal disease in pregnancy to female infertility, and her early clinical research on videocolposcopy and cervical health was recognised with the FOGSI Travelling Scholarship and the FOGSI Dr. Karan Gupta Best Poster Award.
At AMS Neolife, she works alongside her husband, Dr. Altamash Shaikh, treating the hormonal and metabolic conditions – PCOS, thyroid disorders, gestational diabetes – that often sit between endocrinology and women’s health.
